Dear Reader,
Smash that reply button and let me know who else I should be writing. I’m nearly out of new letters! I need to get some out the door if I am going to be able to keep bringing you these missives. I’m open to ideas.
This edition of the newsletter brings you a new letter to Kikkoman with a reply, a vintage letter to Georgia-Pacific with reply, and a letter to NORML I wish had gotten a reply, but didn't.

Dear Kikkoman Soy Sauce,
You make three of my favorite products; Kikkoman Soy Sauce, Kikkoman Panko, and Kikkoman Pad Thai noodles. I'm hungry as I write this letter, but it's too early for lunch. I am just sitting here, watching the clock, fantasizing about eating Pad Thai and bits of Panko covered fiend chicken. Yum yum! Add a kittle soy sauce and you have the perfect meal and it's cheap too! I don't know why more people don't make their own at home food when it is this easy and this good. You don't even need recipes. Just fry up some egg dipped chicken covered in Panko and boil some noodles. It doesn't get easier than that!
I've tried other soy sauces, and while they are all pretty much the same, I keep coming back to yours. It's just a quality product and you always get what you expect. Yum!
One of my favorite dishes is chicken and Panko with parmesan cheese mixed with mayonnaise (I'm a midwesterner and we love our mayo). It may not sound like much, but baked in the oven for 22 minutes at 375 and it tastes great.
Sincerely,
Christopher L. Jorgensen

Dear Georgia-Pacific,
The other day I was getting out a fresh roll of toilet paper and I noticed on the side of the box it says, “Now EPA Complaint.” I’m a huge fan of buying bulk (mostly because I am cheap!), but I’m a bit concerned. If this said “EPA Compliant” I wouldn’t be worried, but the addition of that “Now” makes it seem as though previously my bathroom tissue was not compliant with the Environmental Protection Agency. What was wrong with it before?
Obviously my primary concern is where I’ve been putting this product. Wiping various areas with tissue that is environmentally unfriendly is troublesome at best. I only want the highest quality anywhere near there! Part of me wants to say that the EPA should have nothing to do with what I choose to use to wipe with, but another part of me thinks we need an agency to govern just such a thing!
Well, congratulations on your recent EPA compliance. I still want to know what was wrong with your toilet paper before.
Sincerely,
Christopher L. Jorgensen

Dear NORML,
I happen to live in an agriculture state and it kills me that Iowa farmers are not the number one producers of cannabis. I've tried writing my governor, but I'm not sure she can read, since she didn't write back. She's against marijuana and she ain't changing her mind as long as the state stays red and she can keep getting reelected. I'm trying my best to make sure she doesn't serve another term, but there's only so much a guy can you, you know? So that's why I am writing you. What else should I be doing?
I'm not about to take to the streets. I am far too lazy for that, and besides, there's a pandemic out there. I feel much safer at home. My funds are also limited, so it's not like I can hire a lobbyist or pay off a politician, but I wish there was more I could do than write letters and vote for the other guy (and it's not like the Democrats have such a strong record for legalization).
All I want to do is have a little garden with a couple of plants so I can occasionally enjoy life. Is this too much to ask? I think not!
Sincerely,
Christopher L. Jorgensen

I am thinking of taking this newsletter weekly. As much as I like the twice a week format, it’s going to become difficult for me to keep up with content if I want to keep bringing you new letters (and I do). So I am thinking of switching to a Sunday only format, or a Wednesday newsletter with only vintage content. I’ll think about it. You do so as well, and let me know what you think.
See you Sunday! (But maybe not next Wednesday.)
Sincerely,
Christopher L. Jorgensen
